Floors
Grillage floor systems (applicable NOBASIL MPN) These floors are mounted and installed "dry", without wet process. There are used in case of prefabricated buildings, garrets, attics, mansards and into the additional heat cladding floors. This thermal insulation of floors under floor backing can´t be loaded.
Floating floors
Thermal and sound insulation must be placed continuous with covering of the whole floor area in identical thickness and same quality. In principle the floating floors are technically designed and presented like a heavy floor systems with the spread footing covered by the concrete layer with the recommended minimum thickness of 40 mm.
Floor constructions with mineral fiber insulating materials shall be installed in a workmanlike manner by skilled and experienced workers. These insulating products offer homeowners energy savings, reduce the energy consumption in 8 - 10% of the existing building object and can reduce very significantly the level of impact noise (footfall sound) and space noise into other parts of the building or into adjacent buildings. Moreover, you can use these instructions to better practice of your insulation works namely in the case of other building constructions, because in any case you need to do a right technical design of your actual project before you start work and installing the thermal insulation into any floor construction. It is very important to note, that all insulation products made of mineral wool NOBASIL provide not only thermal, but also acoustic and fire protection insulation of building constructions at the same time, whereupon these insulation producs are classified as a progressive insulation materials.
The basic criteria for choosing adequate insulation materials at the decision process are the endurance conditions, they will always look very different in case of dwelling space, residential area, common social housing, operating premises or sports facilities. Whenever it is necessary to install the sufficient solid large-area materials under the floor covering in regard to the given spread footing and thus to secure the same loading of thermal insulation. NOBASIL - mineral basalt insulation materials are characterized by more competitive advantages perceived as qualitatively superior to public housing, i.e. effective housing option with superior living standard first of all.
The main principles of heat cladding for floors
- to determine the exact endurance conditions and type of floor construction
- to choose the right type and by the calculation to determine adequate thickness of thermal and acoustic insulation
- to place the mineral fibrous insulation to a level surface, which should be smooth, clean and dry
- to apply the protective polyethylene foil on the insulation material in case of concrete work
- to place the boundary insulation strip as a joint around the inner periphery of a basement (contact surface)
